Awesome! I'm glad you enjoyed it, Mr. Nelson. A review would be terrific and a joy to read.

Some of the stuff was thrown together a bit quickly, (that seems to always play a factor,) and some of it's a bit old. I'm starting to realize how dangerous procrastination can be...

I'll have a look around for one of the old CDs... I think I may have some lying around somewhere.

To be honest, that old CD doesn't seem like it represents the kind of music I want to make anymore. It kind of seems juvenile. I'm not suggesting that the music I'm writing today is super fantastic and is gonna blow away any other music, just the opposite. I think that this view just establishes growth. One scary (and nice) thing that's always on my mind is that the current music will, in a while, seem childlike.

So yeah. Perpetual Growth: frightening and exciting.

Anyway. I'll look around for some more CDs.

Thanks again.

Kailem,

No worries man...I just found that cd this morning...it wasn't labelled so it was just kicking around...and it works fine. So no need to look around for one.
Josiah still likes all the techno blips and such on it. We were dancing around the living room this morning to it...way cool. SO thanks for that moment!

I understand what you mean about things sounding dated or childlike. i get the same feeling when i look at old poetry i've written and stuff like that...it just seems to be from another era of thinking and expressing.
I think you are right, this feeling is not a judgemental one, but one of progression...
i had such a reaction when moving and looking at a lot of the cd's in my collection that were really just embarassing...

i think what i listen to now and create has more soul....or something like that. I guess these things are snapshots in time, they represent where we were, what we were thinking, etc. at a certain moment. SO coming back to them sometimes feels a little alien or childlike...sometimes it makes us laugh, feel stupid or embarassed, and sometimes we just smile...

by the way...ever thought of playing at the 'Dancing Bean' in chemainus? they have shows all the time...just a thought. you might like the atmosphere there...another thought...ever thought of doing your band page as a blog?? don't know if that would work. i know a lot of bands attach blogs to their sites...

cheers, and keep up the creative genius!!! it is inspiring.
